**Premier Member News** The Moss Portfolio and Society offices would like to extend their gratitude to Society members who have been patiently awaiting their premier membership beads. The few remaining 2018 bead requests are being filled now. Regarding the 2019 bead, it is in production and we don’t have a release date yet. However, we are thrilled to announce an option to the bead. After receiving so many requests for a Society pendant, we have Pat’s signature dogwood flower on the first pendant. It is made of sterling silver and carries the same price as the bead. Premier members who have renewed already will have the option of changing from the bead to the pendant. Just contact the Society office by email society@pbuckleymoss.com to make your request. We will send you a confirmation email regarding your renewal change.

New for 2019, the Dogwood pendant.

October 1st is the date when the 4th Society Seasonal print will be available. This special collection of prints has been made available every quarter of the year for Society members to purchase, with the added bonus of helping the Moss Foundation. These prints will be shipped no charge and will provide a 5% donation to benefit the P. Buckley Moss Foundation for Children's Education. Although each giclée will be available to all collectors, only current Society members will benefit from the free shipping with the Foundation donation. When ordering this print, please provide your membership number.

There is a designated date by which the print needs to be purchased to qualify for free shipping and donation. The cost of each print is $45.

2019 4th Quarter Seasonal Society print is titled Barnyard Talk. Purchases made between October 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019 will qualify for the Foundation donation and free shipping.

Beginning with this newsletter, we are adding a Collectors Corner. It will be a forum for collectors to advertise Moss art for sale or to list wanted items. The fee structure will be $5 per item listed. If an entire collection is being sold as 1 unit, then the fee would still be $5. Collectors looking for Moss art will not be charged for their ad. Previously the Collectors Corner has been published in the Sentinel. The Sentinel has become cost prohibitive to continue and sadly the decision has been made to discontinue it.

Moss Foundation News

If you’re in Waynesboro, VA October 11th -13th, look for the Moss Foundation Children’s Activity Booth on Main St. as part of the annual Fall Foliage Festival. Celebrating Aviation through Art is the theme for this year, and the children will be painting balsa wood airplanes. Volunteers who would like to help out with the booth, are encouraged to contact the Foundation office at 800-430-1320 to sign up. The festival runs concurrent with the Fall Barn Show and Gallery Open House. It’s a great time of year to visit Waynesboro. Just think; autumn, Moss, mountains and doing a good deed all at the same time!

Be proud to be a Moss Society member. Working together, we make a difference in our communities. Margaret Mead may have said it best when she said, “Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.”
