Moss in the Valley

Welcome:

Moss in the Valley was chartered on January 26, 1989. Our purpose is to foster awareness and enjoyment of the art of P. Buckley Moss, assist in her local appearances and promote children's philanthropic activity on her behalf. Learn more about Pat and her work by joining a local chapter. It is a great way to make new friends, give back to your community and do something worthwhile. We would love to meet new Moss Collectors and Supporters.

Our Chapter members celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a Potluck at Pat's home, enjoying great food, fun and fellowship.

Remarks to Potential Members:
Moss in the Valley is a local chapter of the P. Buckley Moss Society. The chapter was founded in January 1989 & consists of 25 members from the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. To achieve our goals, we hold at least one major raffle per year to benefit a charitable organization. We also try to support other charitable organizations on a smaller scale. One of the benefits of joining the chapter is having increased opportunities to interact with Pat Moss during Barn Shows, Chapter Training Programs, and other Moss events. It is a great opportunity to learn more about Pat, her art, and to meet regularly with others interested in Moss collectibles.

Members pay only $10 per year for dues. Our chapter members are always excited to meet new collectors. We have found that members stay active and interested by conducting monthly meetings and mailing a newsletter each month.

In 2001, Pat began to offer a free companion print to chapter members who purchased the Members only print. This print is only available to member of a local chapter.

By becoming a local chapter member, you meet and work with Moss collectors, and have fun while providing help and hope in your local community, as well as making new friends. We invite you to join our chapter if you are interested in Pat's art, helping local children through our fundraisers or getting together socially with a great group of people! Our Chapter will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary this year and our officers and members welcome you to visit us and become a part of our Chapter.
