2003 Society Barge Trip

Presidents' Award To Begin in 2003
This $1,000 award is intended for someone who has made a significant contribution to improving the education and well-being of children during the preceding year — a teacher, a counselor, an educator, a mentor, a volunteer.

2003 Harbison Scholarship Recipient
The recipient of the 2003 P. Buckley Moss Society — Anne and Matt Harbison Scholarship is Tom Burkam of Delaware, Ohio.

2003 Cary Scholarship Winners
Amy Mitchell Howard of Arrington, Virginia, and Patricia Quillin of Lewisburg, West Virginia, will both receive $1,000 toward their fall classes.

2003 Presidents' Award Winner
Honoring the past presidents of the Society, the Presidents’ Award of $1,000 for improving the education and well being of children is presented to Marie Y. Nales of Danville, Virginia, a Society member since 1998.
