Society Membership Dues Change
During the past 20 years, your Society dues have been raised only twice. Unfortunately, it is necessary to do so once more this year. However, renewing members have a way to postpone this increase until 2009. Beginning January 1, 2008, the dues for new members will be $38. That increase will not take effect for existing members until July 1. Thus, regardless of when you are scheduled to renew your membership, if you do so before July 1, the rate will still be $35. The same conditions will exist for junior members as well ($28 for new, $25 for renewals prior to July 1, $28 for renewals after July 1).
