This Privacy Policy is intended to assist you in understanding how the Society uses, collects and safeguards the personal information which you provide to the Society through the web site and to assist you in making informed decisions when using the Society's web site and its services.

Collection of Personal Information
The Society collects no personal information from individuals who merely browse the web site and view the various pages of information contained herein. Personal information is collected only when you choose to provide it in the following ways:

This Site and Children 13 and Under
This site is not intended for children and the Society does not knowingly collect personal information from children. In order to comply with federal regulations concerning children age 13 and under and the internet, only adults may complete applications for junior memberships or otherwise communicate with the Society. By using a credit card to complete an application for a junior membership, we are assuming that the form is being completed by a person authorized in law to do so.

Cookies
The Society's web site does not currently use the technology known as "cookies." It is possible that cookies will be employed in the future so that we may obtain aggregate information about how our web site is used. Cookies are a feature of the web browser software that allows web servers to recognize the computer, which is being used to access the web site; they are small pieces of data stored on a user's computer at the time of the visit.
